Funderburk’s “Angelus Vitae” in noted national showcase
Funderburk’s “Angelus Vitae” a watercolor painting, was chosen by juror Stephen Quiller to be exhibited in the 44th Annual Rocky Mountain National Watermedia Exhibition, showing at the Evergreen Center for the Arts in Evergreen, Colorado from September 16 to October 28, 2017. A reception for the artists was held on September 16.
Funderburk Teaches, Lectures and Exhibits in Italy, California in 2016
In his first visit back since teaching there in 2007, Brent Funderburk taught a course “Sketchbook/Journal for Artists, Architects and Designers” at the University of Arkansas Rome Center in Italy for five weeks during the summer of 2016.

A longtime faculty member in Mississippi State’s College of Architecture, Art and Design again is receiving recognition from a major art and design publication.
MSU’s Funderburk recognized in international Texas exhibit
The show will be exhibited in Houston’s WAS-H Gallery (1601 West Alabama Street, in the Museum District) from March 8 through March 31, 2016, with a reception on March 6 at 4:00 p.m. Funded by a grant from the City of Houston through the Houston Arts Alliance, the exhibit is the premier annual juried exhibition of noted international artists by the Texas-based society of over 600 members.
