Funderburk featured in 2024’s “Splash 25: The Best of Watercolor”

“Anteroom” watercolor, by Mississippi artist Brent Funderburk, is featured in 2024’s “Splash 25: The Best of Watercolor”

Brent Funderburk’s “Anteroom” was recently chosen as a “Finalist” winner for inclusion in the publication “Splash 25: The Best of Watercolor”. The annual shows 124 paintings that “inspire creative discovery”, juried from works submitted by individuals internationally, including artists from Hong Kong, Bulgaria, the UK, Italy, Canada, Germany, Hungary, Turkey, India, China and the U.S.A. The magazine has been available beginning in July, 2024.

Awards Juror and noted painter Thomas W. Schaller selected Funderburk’s watercolor painting for the section “Still Life & Floral” to be included in the 25th yearly edition of this special publication, presented by Artists Magazine and American Artist. Funderburk’s works have been selected for inclusion in the last five issues.
