Radiant Edge (1993)

“Radiant Edge” (1992) brought my family onto a dream lit stage, with a nearby cypress swamp at dawn as the “set”.  Sons Wyatt and Jackson appeared, with their mother, to dramatize poet Rainer Maria Rilke’s “Duino Elegies” (1912- 1923) in large oil paintings. Lostness and foundness lived in me as I worked, in mid-career, walking the edge between darkness and light; mortal limits and Intimation.
